With Earth Day coming up, and now people celebrating the entire month of April as Earth Month, I thought I'd share a list of my favorite sustainable brands covering everything from fashion to cleaning products, furniture, food, chocolate, tea,  beauty and skin care, and more. Check 'em out. Several brands have Earth Month sales going on already. Any of your faves on the list?
But first, what is a sustainable brand? There's no "perfectly" sustainable brand, but here's what I look for in brands: B-Corp certification, on the way to B-Corp certification, other credible certifications, packaging used (including product and delivery packaging), materials used, how circular their business and products are, transparency, transparency, transparency of social responsibilities including environmental, economic, and cultural impact.
